海南鸡饭非常容易配搭香槟、起泡酒、白葡萄酒和桃红葡萄酒。但是，当鸡肉沾上过多的姜蓉、辣椒酱或黑豉油时，配搭会变得有些复杂。在三款酱汁中，甜甜的黑豉油是最难搭配葡萄酒的。辣椒太多也很棘手。适量的姜蓉其实很适合配酒。对于这种用水浸煮的鸡来说，白酒比红酒（适合油炸、烧或焗鸡）是更好的搭配。
