Champagne Devaux D Rosé 

Bright lightning pink. Concentrated, rich, intense and persistent. Red fruits and citrus.  Spices too, including star anise and liquorice. With great freshness. A very serious wine. The 55% Pinot Noir is all from the Cote des Bar which is particularly famous for the black grape. As for the balance 45% Chardonnay, it is all from the Cote des Blancs where the variety thrives best. Multi Gold Medal winner at Mundus Vini,  Sélection Mondiale des Vins and Berliner Wein Trophy.

Champagne Devaux Ultra D

Bright light gold. Concentrated, rich and persistent. Intensely lemony and zesty. With a complex brioche note and nuttiness beginning to set in. The richness is very fine, elegant and long. Firm and dry on the finish. An Extra Brut where the dosage is just 3 gm/l. Gold Medal at The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships. (Two weeks ago, when Krug Grande Cuvée Edition 168 was served blind to me, I mistook it for Devaux Ultra D).
