The Muscadet from this walled vineyard or clos sees no oak whatsoever but is aged in a concrete amphora. As a result, the wine and the lees are constantly in natural motion inside the egg-shaped amphora. The soil includes siliceous clay and stones with a subsoil of orthogneiss. The ripe quince/citrus/mandarin peel fruit is full of energy, complex, and possesses a creamy texture. Dry, fresh, and with a long, persistent finish.
